January Reflection
1. Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make?
-My project is a floor lamp with high heels all decorated differently all over it. I used a lamp, glitter, gems, paint and high heels. Im still working on it.
2. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why? I
think the good / strong parts of my project are all the shoes because they are all different and it's a unique project.
3. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why? I could have done a better job with managing my time because it is taking a lot longer than I thought it would.
4. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect that theme? My theme is blitz and glamour out can be made out of anything. I used the glitter and gems to reflect that.
5. Describe the important elements (blue-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important?
My elements are shape and color because I kept with the same colors all throughout., and shape is because every shoe is a different shape.
6. Describe the important principles (red-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design
(at least 2): What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are the most important?
My principles are unity and balance because they both are shown throughout. The unit is shown throughout by keeping the same theme throughout, and balance because the shoes will be attached evenly throughout.
7. Metacognate (think about your thinking!!!): What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
I learned to think and plan over and over to get your project done.
EXCEEDING:
8. Evaluate and list the design process of your project (all of the steps you took to make
it). First I started decorating each shoe. Then I painted the lamp pole. Finally I attached the shoes to the pole.
9. Why did you do the project the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance?
What changes did you have to make along the way (if any changes were necessary)? I did the project this way because i wanted it to be unique and different. Yes it was planned becasue it will go in my room. I would make no changes.
10. Was this a worthwhile project for yourself and why? What project will you be
doing next and why? Yes this was a worthwhile project because it is useable in real life. I will be doing a painting for my room.
