November Reflection Questions.
1. Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make?
-My Project was a collage of all the pictures i took in Seattle Washington. I used pictures, modgepodge, glittler and wood.
2. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why? I think the good / strong parts of my project are the varieties of pictures, and the different types of materials.
3. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why? I could have done a better job with covering the board more throughout.
4. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect that theme? The unity throughout the whole board is the color behind it and the pictures all have the same lighting.
5. Describe the important elements (blue-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important?
Important elements I used are line and shape. Line is used where all off my edges are sharp and angular. It creates a clean edge. I used shape as an outline for the board and all the pictures all have straight edges as rectangles.
6. Describe the important principles (red-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are the most important?
I used pattern and balance in my project. Pattern was throughout the whole thing, by having glitter repeat throughout the whole project. Balance was used by having all the pictures the same shape and evenly spaced throughout.
7. Metacognate (think about your thinking!!!): What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
I learned that collages take time, and I learned how to manage my time better. I can use this later on because I will be able to accomplish my stuff better and faster.
EXCEEDING:
8. Evaluate and list the design process of your project (all of the steps you took to make it). First I painted the board, then I started to modgepodged the pictures down. After I did that, I glued glitter down around some edges. Once that was done, I covered the whole board in modgepodge to make it stay.
9. Why did you do the project the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance? What changes did you have to make along the way (if any changes were necessary)? I did the project this way, because it captures the whole trip all in one place. I kept adding more to the project to fill it in more. This project was well planned.
10. Was this a worthwhile project for yourself and why? What project will you be doing next and why? Yes this was a worthwhile project, because it will help me remember the art trip.
