Slab Sculpture Reflection 3-F
1. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well? Why?
The good/strong parts of my project are the abstractness of them because they look cool. The smoothness is done well becasue it looks nice and even.
2. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project? Why?
I think I could have done better at taking more time creating them, because I got them done early.
3. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the design like? Why?
The theme was abstract, and the unity is the twisting of pieces. The other slab sculpture's theme is circles and life.
4. Describe the form of your sculpture: what kind of 3-D shape does it have (cylindrical, spherical, egg-like, bumpy, smooth)? Why?
The form of this sculpture is oddly shaped and smooth, because it is different pieces put together.
5. What inspired you to make your design this way? What is the primary meaning of your design? How did you do this? Why did you do it that way?
I had no plan creating this. Life is full of twists and turns, and it all looks different.
6. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to others? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
I learned how to create a sculpture, and how to use my time.
EXCEEDING:
7. Evaluate the design of your sculpture: Why did you do it the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance? Did your final project look the way you thought it would in the beginning? Why or why not? Elaborate on this process...
It looks cool, but it wasn't planned. It turned out the way i wanted it to in the end.
8. Is this a worthwhile project that Purdy should continue to use? What should Mr. Purdy do to improve this project for the future? Why?
Yes this is a worthwhile project.
